Not sure if you'll read the comments here, but as a Gen X who spends every day in deep communication with Gen Z, I've gotta ask...what's your source for your perspective on these teens? Because, erm...you're wrong.

Sorry to teensplain, but Gen Z deeply, deeply cares about society and the planet and social justice and all of the things. This piece strikes me as having been written by someone who doesn't know the subject of which they speak, but has watched a few YouTube videos.

The diff with Gen Z, the reality of 'em, is that they not only care, they're doing the damn thing. They ARE the change they want to see in the world. They don't just talk about it, then go out and march while taking selfies. They're putting in the work now, to prepare to work even harder in the future.

If you're not already connected with teens, come to my Instagram and jump into the conversation. Ask 'em some questions. Listen to their answers. You'll see. And you'll love them. Promise.
