A: it’s a death rattle, I think. They’re fighting an inevitable incoming tide. I almost feel sorry for them.

B: I don’t take their comments personally, as every single one of ’em makes it clear they only read the headline, and are responding from their short, narrow script to that, not to my experience or my writing.
